People of Thunder Bay

As the world gets bigger and our lives get busier, we sometimes forget to slow down and meet our neighbours. As the saying goes, it takes a village and we lose that as we get bogged down in our day to day. Whether it’s the barista at your favourite coffee place, the hiker you always walk by on the trails, your kids’ bus driver, or your very own neighbour, you never know who has a story to tell. Turns out, we all do.

We are going to share stories here from the people of the community. We want to bridge the gap that exists between us all, particularly in this time of isolation. We want to connect you with community members, to shake humanity’s hand, grab a drink, and digitally get to know each other.

This was a fun project in early 2021 to help us all get through COVID!
We hope to continue this at some point in the near future.
