THE DETAILS:

• Part-time: 20-25 hours per week (with potential for more during busy seasons)

  • Typical work hours would be Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm with flexibility

• Location: Thunder Bay, Ontario

  • Flexible on-site and remote work options available on a project to project basis

• $20-$25/hr based on experience

• Valid Canadian driver’s license and personal vehicle (required)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a talented and driven Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This dynamic role involves managing social media accounts and marketing initiatives for our clients, including:

• Check emails daily and communicate/coordinate with clients and team members, as needed, either by email, Zoom, in-person or phone.

• Meet with clients to chat about their monthly goals, promotions, and happenings

• Create content plans that tell each client’s story authentically

• Plan and coordinate monthly photo and video production days

• Capture and edit short-form videos (Reels, etc.) plus photos

  • Camera equipment provided unless you have your own (bonus)

• Design engaging graphics in Canva (bonus points if you can use Adobe Illustrator!)

• Write fun, engaging, and on-brand captions and copy for social media

• Schedule posts and send previews for client review

• Keep everything on track — organized, timely, and on point

  • Manage and prioritize projects to ensure all deadlines are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Canadian driver’s license and personal vehicle (required)

• Post-secondary education or 2+ years of experience in a similar role

• Must reside in Thunder Bay, ON

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Creativity and attention to detail in content creation

• Proficiency in Canva Pro; Adobe programs a plus

• Experienced with short-form video creation and editing (Final Cut Pro preferred)

  • Proficiency in Final Cut Pro or other video editing program (required)

• Confident in copywriting

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Must have commitment to deadlines and be open to flexible working hours

• Friendly, communicative, and independent — you get things done, and you do them well
