THUNDER BAY TREASURE HUNT

NEXT HUNT COMING OCTOBER 25, 2023!

The #SociableSearch is a treasure hunt that encourages people to get outdoors, explore new places and create memories. The medallion is placed at a different public park throughout the city, with a single clue posted on social media each day. The medallion can be hidden anywhere on the ground - under a rock, tree, leaves, or snow.

Tips and Rules

  • Clues will be posted at 11am every day on our social media channels (Facebook and Instagram) to lead you in the right direction.

  • It can be hidden anywhere - under a tree, near water, among fallen leaves, etc.

  • No destroying of property. It is hidden in the open so there is no digging, uprooting, moving, etc required.

  • Tag us on Instagram/Facebook on your journey as you get closer and closer to the treasure @SociableThunderBay. Seeing these photos/videos literally makes our day and doing this totally worth it.

  • Be kind! To both your fellow searchers and us - it is our second time and we welcome any tips for future hunts.

  • It is hidden upside down (so it appears to be a normal rock).

WHAT TO DO IF YOU FIND THE “SOCIABLE MEDALLION”?

Send us a message on Facebook or Instagram, or email hello@sociablethunderbay.com with your name and attach a photo/selfie with the medallion. We will connect with directly to exchange the medallion for the prizes.
